 Un jardinier ouvre un magasin de fruits et lui donne le nom d’un de ses fils, Shehata. Shahata souffre de l’influence de ses frères et de leurs mauvais traitements car ils le jalousent. Le film se termine en drame.

 Een tuinman opent een fruitwinkel en noemt die naar één van zijn zonen, Shahata. Shahata lijdt onder het feit dat zijn broers hem slecht behandelen, omdat ze jaloers op hem zijn. De film kent een dramatisch einde.

 The village gardener opens a fruit shop and names it after his son Shehata. Shahata will suffer from the influence of his brothers and their ill-treatment because of their severe jealousy. It all ends in tragedy.

Khaled Youssef est diplômé entnat qu’ingénieur en électronique en 1989. Il devient à partir de 1992, le 1er assistant de Youssef Chahine. Il coécrit les scénarii : Destin en 1997, l’Autre en 1999 ainsi que Alexandrie New York en 2004. En 2007, il coréalise le Chaos.
